Our preschooler was more than excited to read An Easter Prayer by Amy Parker. This book is just small enough for small children to hold easily in their hands. It is filled with vibrant photos and each page layout has something for the child to feel. Some of the surfaces are soft like the rabbit’s fur. Some are smooth like the shell of an egg.  Some surfaces are a bit rough like the grass.  My child’s favorite page was the page with glitter on it. This was also my favorite page. I like this book because not only does it read a wonderful story about Christ and Easter, but it also helps to teach the toddlers about different textures to feel.  If you are looking for a nice Easter gift for a young child then this is a wonderful buy.  I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest opinion.
