Book Review: Indescribable, 100 Devotions About God and Science

Of all the books I have looked at to use in homeschooling education, the book, Indescribable by Louie Giglio is one that I am by far the most pleased with.  I love that someone tied together devotionals with science so that children can help understand the Earth more through the eyes of God.

Each devotional is on a 2 page spread.  Each contains a cute drawing, a Bible verse, a short prayer, and an explanation of a Science topic in relation to the Christian religion.  Some devotionals will even include scientific photos.

The coolest thing about this book is it ties together two subjects: Science and the Bible.  When homeschooling it can sometimes feel like there is not enough time in the day to get done everything one wants to get done.  I think this is partly because a person has so many cool things they want to pack into the day.  With this book, Indescribable, at least 2 birds can be killed with one stone you could say.

You know, I mentioned how this is a great book for homeschooling, but honestly- it is an awesome book for those in public school as well.  Ages 6-12 I feel would absolutely love this book.  Although, I love it also and I am an adult.  You cannot lose if you purchase this book.

The book, Indescribable, was given to me by Book Look Bloggers in exchange for an honest review.
