The boardbook, Lots of Love, by Kim Washburn opens up children’s eyes on types of love languages. I expected this book to focus soley on a mother’s hug or kiss, as it seems most boardbooks at this level focus on. However, I was happy to see that the book takes the reader through maby examples of how people can show their love. For example, one page shows the dad fixing stuff and talks about how that is one way he displays his love.
The illustrations of this book are charming, full of bold and vivid colors. It is also a very sturdy book- one that a toddler would have a hard time destroying.
Overall I love this book because it displays great examples to a young child on how to demonstrate love in an engaging way.
I received this book from BookLookBloggers in exchange for an honest opinion.
