The Sun Is Always There

Even though it is the middle of April and the majority of the United States has already had signs of Spring gracing them for a while now, we are just now starting to see signs of Spring in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  We still have snow and even about 3 feet high of snow banks.  But, the sun is out today and things are starting to melt.

The sun is out today.

Does that mean it wasn’t out the other days?  The dark, cloudy days? The gloomy days?

Actually, the sun has always been there.  It was just hidden by the clouds.

The sun is always out.  Just because some days we don’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

Just as God is always there.  Just because some days we can’t seem to see Him or hear Him…that doesn’t mean He isn’t there.

Sometimes God is just hidden by the clouds.  Or muffled by the rain.

But He is still there.  He is always there.

And He wants to bless those who love him – small and great alike.

Don’t get discouraged when the rain clouds or even the snow storm winds are there masking God.  Sit still and wait for them to pass as they will.  New seasons com.  They have to – the world is never stuck in winter.

Spring always comes, even if it takes a while.

Blessings, Erin
